Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience started at the age of 14. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling, she began her professional debut with Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was just 18. Ladd then went on to win three fights in a row at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of her opponents were defeated within the first five minutes. After that, she returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen first defeated Silvia Babyghian prior to going to take on Maddy Simmons at WCFC 9 and fought Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen, and beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as a professional were damaged. Ladd recovered from the loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, making her record 8-1. Aspen turned professional in 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC to make her professional debut. She faced Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability defeated McGill in the first round, and she was able to end her in the third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. The fight was with Hoy as the catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd was not able to gain weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy and was able to knock her out in the second round by TKO. In her last fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks by unanimous decision at Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina through her ground and pound tactics, resulting in a TKO 2nd round win. Ladd continued to dominate and scored an even impressive victory in her next fight against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd took on Evinger by a punch in the opening round, and earned a Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos-Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she's had in a major role. Ladd's win was a majority decision, as well as the Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her winning streak. The third time she fought on UFC in ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She took on Norma Dumont as a substitute for her fight last time with the UFC in UFC Fight Night 195. The fight was unanimously decided against her.
