Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette (January 31, 1937 - January 19 2007) was an American film, theatre TV, and voice actress. 1. Pleshette began her career in the theatre and started appearing in films towards the end of the 1950s. She later made appearances in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), and Spirited Away (2001). Then, she appeared in different television productions, and was often a guest actor. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, 1972-1978 which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on the 31st of January, 1937. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer and choreographer, who was stage-named Geraldine Rivers. Her father was stage manager of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
